VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Mosquito Joe wrapped up quarter one, celebrating 11 newly-opened units and signing 16 additional agreements to expand in 30 territories – a 100 percent increase from 2014.
“Mosquito Joe has continued to outperform previous growth numbers, which demonstrates that our franchisees and infrastructure can drive record results,” said Mosquito Joe CEO (aka Head Joe) Kevin Wilson. “In the past three months, we've been able to grow into new markets, and we're well positioned to reach our growth goals for this year.”
With the brand's ongoing initiatives, Mosquito Joe aims to surpass last year's success by opening 66 new territories in 2015 to reach a total of 105 territories open by year's end. In Q1 alone, the brand inked a deal to make its debut in Pennsylvania, and has also brought heavy hitters in the franchise industry onboard. For instance, the brand recently signed Chris Phillips, a former American Leak Detection franchisee, and Trey Powell of Liberty Tax, who joins the growing number of Liberty Tax franchisees attracted to the Mosquito Joe concept.
Mosquito Joe was recently listed in the Top Multi-Unit Franchises of 2015 by Franchise Business Review. The report surveyed more than 6,000 multi-unit operators who represent more than 300 leading brands across the United States.
“Being recognized by a publication that gathers information on the best of the industry is a phenomenal honor, and we aim to continue delivering the best services and operations for both our franchisees and our customers,” Wilson said. “Moving forward, we aim to add to our ever-growing franchise base and continue expanding on a national scale.”
