Landscape supervisors, foremen and field technicians who are certified as Landscape Industry Technicians are recognized as qualified professionals. This can mean better wages and enhanced profits as the public becomes more aware of the meaning of doing business with a certified professional. International certification gives companies a way of meeting increased consumer demand for professional landscaping.
The Landscape Industry Certified Technician's Test is administered by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), and licensed to Ohio – a partnership consisting of the Ohio Landscape Association, Ohio State University ATI, and the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association.
There are five Landscape Industry Certified designations to choose from:
• Softscape Installation
